Goatman
Who or What is Goatman?Course black hair cover it's lower body, with sporadic patches coating his torso and arms. His face is reported as being horribly twisted, and from his forehead protrude 2 white nubs. A large, scragly beard, thick brow with yellow teeth and eyes compleate his head. His legs end in cloven hooves, while sharp claws tip his fingers. His apperance is often mistaken to be satan. The most widespread explenation for this being is not a supernatural one, or a case of something from before the rise of man that has somehow survived. Instead blame is placed on the militaries pursuit of a better soldiar through the splicing of human and animal DNA, creating "super" humans. Goatman was a failed accident at a government lab persuing just these ends. Supposedly he escaped and now roams remote areas of Prince Georges County in Maryland.

It is alleged that Goatman spends the time he is not resting or eating terrifying couples on secluded lover's lanes. Why he would derive pleasure from terrifying those having a romantic tryst? Perhaps it is a way of dealing with the anger and horror of what he will never again experience, or perhaps the gene splicing left a few incomplete connections in his brain. Either way, if real, this beast's actions could escalate further and further as he seeks to maintane the feeling of power he derives from spreading terror. Whatever the case, he is extremely disturbed, and should be avoided at all costs if at all possible. The chance that he is simply an urban legend might be true, but take a look back at history and you will find many "legends" are based in reality, such as the city of Troy, considered a fictional place because of the total lack of any hard evidence that it was real, until someone found it. And gorrilas where long thought to be a flight of the imagination until they were eventually found. If things as large as cities, or as numerous as mountin gorrilas can go unsean for so long gives atleast a little strength to the claim that he exsists, as far fetched as many would believe.

Goats and the SupernaturalMagically goats are linked to sexuality, hedonism, and fertility. An example are the Satyrs of the Greeks, human-goat hybrids long venerated for sexual proclivity and prowess. The eyes, tongues, udders and genitals of goats are used to make potions to cure impotence and induce lust. A goat on a ship was thought of as a charm for good weather, and killing a white goat on Christmas morning was supposed to ensure good luck for the coming year.
